Warbirds Over Oklahoma 2011 is scheduled for May 13, 14, and 15. The event will be held again at the El Reno Regional airport. I was there today, May 22, 2010 mowing the grass runway and pilot line. Thanks to the tremendous air support and superior ground operations, Warbirds Over Oklahoma 2010 was a huge success. The skies over El Reno Regional airport (AKA: Mustang Field) has not seen this much military activity since WWII. I want to relay a message from our Airfield Operations Officer and airport manager, Rick Mullaney. “Great event and my dad was totally caught off guard with his FAA Wright Brothers 50 Year Master Pilot Award.”
